Electron-loss cross sections for negative ions at high energies
- 1. Frankfurt Univ. (Germany, F.R.). Inst. fuer Kernphysik
Description
Total electron-loss cross sections σsub(tot) and σsub(-11), respectively, have been measured with different combinations of H-, F-, S-,Cl-, Se-, Br-, I-in the following target gases: H2, He, 02, N2 and Ar. The energy range was extended from 20 to 220 keV. The measured cross sections for H- are compared with other data and theoretical approximations; for all other negative ions the cross sections are presented without comparison because calculations are not available.
