Diagnostic nuclear medicine for renal studies

The author reviews in brief the history of development of diagnostic renal evaluation using radioisotopes, covering the first experimental radioisotope studies, the development of methods and means to the state of the art in routine renal scintiscanning, and an outlook on the future. (MG)
