Description

Experimental fast reactor, JOYO, is a first built LMFBR in Japan. In order to achieve safety operation of this new type reactor, its own operator training simulator is provided at the site of JOYO. And computer aided operation support system has been introduced and is being developed. Both efforts are to improve operator-plant interface. The simulator is widely used for training, rehearsal of special plant tests and verification of operation support systems
