Radioisotope applications for investigation of physicochemical properties of soils

Applications of open radiation sources for investigations of physicochemical properties of soils are presented. Basic chemistry of tracers, isotope exchange and ion exchange is shortly described. Anions and cations sorption in soil is discussed. Application of 14C as well as investigation of microelements in soil is considered. (Z.M.)
