The reaction 14C(6Li, 6He)14N and the distribution of Gamow-Teller strength

Description
It is found that the correlation between the L = 0 component of the (6Li, 6He) reaction and the GT matrix element holds down to a very low level of GT strength, and that essentially all (>90%) of the GT strength lies in the 3.95 MeV state of 14N. (Auth.)
