Electron cyclotron absorption of the ordinary wave at normal incidence

Description
The cyclotron absorption of an ordinary wave injected normally to the increasing toroidal magnetic field of a tokamak due to relativistic effects is calculated, using a stratified plasma model. Particular attention is paid to the dependence of the absorption on the electron temperature. (author)
