Amplification of the 1.32-μm line in Nd:YAG
Description
Single-pass amplifier gains at 1.32 μm have been measured in an 80-mm Nd:YAG rod, achieving a saturated gain of 3.1. Small-signal gain comparisons imply a stimulated-emission cross-section ratio (1.32/1.06 μm) of 0.19. (auth)
