Recent development in ISO and NRC safety regulations and their impact on gamma radiography in the NDT industry

This paper was presented during the seventh annual convention of the Philippine Society for Non-Destructive Testing (PSNT) November 13, 1992. It tells about the new regulations of International Standard Organization (ISO) and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) on 10 CFR (Code of Federal Regulation) 34 new systems which will require the compliance of all radiographic devices, controls, guide tubes, exposure heads, source couplings, etc. which are important to radiographers and government regulating authorities.
