Fabrication of CdZnTe nuclear radiation detector

Description
The fabrication process and test characteristics of the CdZnTe nuclear radiation detectors by home-made material single crystal were briefly introduced in the paper. The spectrum of the measured energy resolution (FWHM) is 2.0% for 8.78 MeV and 6.04 MeV α particles of the Thc-c'-source, and 2.3% for 5.486 MeV alphas of the Am241 α-source. What is more, we have got shown the spectrum of the energy resolutions (FWHM) is 9.7% for 662 keV γ rays of 137Cs-source and the 1048.1 keV and 975.6 keV internal positrons of 207Bi source. (authors)
