Changes in albino rat skin after nonuniform mixed X- and β-irradiation

X-radiation (400 R) combined with β-radiation from krypton-85 (7400 rad) delivered to different parts of the rat body aggravated clinical, morphological and sorptive disorders in cutaneous ;overing tissues (compared with total-body β-irradiation with the same dose). X-irradiation of the forebody combined with β-irradiation of the sheared portions of the back skin with doses mentioned above was less effective than the exposure of the hindquarter skin
