Description
Full text: Using numerical simulations, we study the vortex voltage noise signature generated by magnetically interacting pancake vortices in anisotropic superconductors. Coupled and decoupled pancakes produce different noise characteristics. We study the onset of a narrow band or 'washboard' voltage noise as a function of applied magnetic field and driving current. We compare our data with recent experimental results. (author)
