Description

Special stainless steels with Cr 18 to 25%, Ni 10 to 20%, Si 0 to 4%, C less than 0.015% and very low contents in residual and inclusions have been produced by special melting techniques, i.e. intergranular corrosion and a particular type of occluded cell (crevice) corrosion is much less dangerous.
