Solubility of anhydrous lanthanide chlorides in phosphorus oxychloride and in phosphorus oxychloride-zinc chloride matix composition

Description
Solubility of anhydrous chlorides of lanthanides in phosphorus oxychloride (POCl3) and laser matrix phosphorus oxychloride - zinc chloride (POCl3-ZnCl2) was studied. The developed and synthesized systems can be used as luminophores and laser luminophores. Schemes of quantitative analysis of luminophores, and certain very important details of their sythesis are suggested and described
