The Recommendation gives reference values and methods for dose determination and assessment of contamination levels in compliance with section 6 StrVG (German Act for Preventive Radiation Protection) and the relevant applications defined by the law, as for instance for radiological measurement or decontamination of vehicles at the national border in the event of a radiological emergency. Methods and data for calculation of external doses and assessment of incorporated doses of passengers are given as well. (Orig./CB)
