Screw strain measurement with ultrasound - necessity, benefits and limits
Description
The measurement is based on the acoustic effect. The device BOLTMIKE SMI developed specifically for the testing of bolts (screws) was applied; the entire system works with support through microprocessors. The measurements directly indicate the elongation, strain and binding strength. The measured values are logged by a printer via a built-in RS 232 interface. (DG)

Die Messung beruht auf dem akustoeleastischen Effekt. Es wurde das Geraet BOLTMIKE realisiert, welches durch Mikroprozessor unterstuetzt ist. Das Geraet zeigt direkt die Laengung, Spannung und Klemmkraft an. Die gemessenen Werte werden ueber eine eingebaute RS 232-Schnittstelle von einem Drucker protokolliert. (DG)Additional details
