Increasing the sensitivity of resonant mass gravitational wave detectors
Description
Numerous imporved detectors are now being developed or are actually under construction. In these notes I intend to discuss in detail some important factors which determine the sensitivity of large resonant-mass detectors and describe how the various problems are at present being attacked using low temperature techniques. Finally I shall outline the programme at Stanford. (orig.)

(orig.)Additional details
