Double scattering of hadrons by deuterium, as a function of the primary energy

  • 1. Institute of High Energy Physics, Kazakh Academy of Sciences

Description

Double scattering of protons interacting with deuterium nuclei is studied in the 2-meter deuterium bubble chamber at a primary momentum 19.2 GeV/c. The experimental data are compared with the results obtained at other energies up to 300 GeV. The dependence of the double-scattering effects on the nature of the primary particle and its energy is discussed
