Description
The motion of a mass point in a central potential is considered. It is usually assumed that the projection of the angular momentum on the radius vector is equal to zero. It is shown that, if this assumption is relaxed, the angular part of the Hamiltonian becomes identical to the angular part of the monopole Hamiltonian given by Dirac. (author)
