Description

Luteophosphotungstic acid H6[P2W18O62]x33H2O has been synthesized. The process of its nonisothermal dehydration is studied using the methods of thermal analysis, IR spectroscopy, 1H NMR. It is found that dehydration takes place with the formation of three-water hydrate of acid H6[P2W18O62]x3H2O. The change of hydration degree of part of protons is connected with formation and destruction of the hydrate. Using 1H NMR the evolution of the state of proton hydrate complexes in products containing from 29 to 2.3 moles H2O per P2O5x18WO3 mole is traced
