Method of half-life determination

Description
A method is proposed for processing the time spectrum of radioactive-decay events in order to determine the half-life. The method is especially useful in the case of detection of rare decay events when not all channels of the time spectrum contain counts and taking the logarithm of the number of counts in the channels for determination of the decay curve becomes impossible. Application of the method is illustrated in the case of analysis of experimental data obtained in study of ternary fission of the fissile isomers of uranium
