Effect of grinding conditions on the structure and mechanical properties of hot-pressed boron carbide

Powders produced by different methods and ground in a planetary mill are comparatively studied with results presented. Optimal grinding conditions are determined in order to obtain hot-pressed boron-carbide-based materials with the homogeneous structure and improved mechanical-physical properties
