Introduction into the problems of testing plastic products with particular regard to non-destructive testing

Description
There is a series of testing methods which can be used for rubber as well as plastic. The assessing of products on cut-out samples as well as on the whole component is also possible and necessary in a similar manner as for metallic materials. However, there is still a postponed demand in the development of testing methods for plastics in which the testing is non-destructively, or at least partly non-destructively performed. (orig./LH)
Abstract (German)
Es gibt eine Reihe von Pruefverfahren, welche sowohl fuer Kautschuk als auch fuer Kunststoff Gueltigkeit haben. Auch die Beurteilung von Erzeugnissen sowohl an herausgeschnittenen Probekoerpern als auch am ganzen Bauteil ist bei Kunststoffen in aehnlicher Weise moeglich und notwendig wie bei metallischen Werkstoffen. Es besteht nach wie vor jedoch ein Nachholbedarf in der Entwicklung von Pruefverfahren fuer Kunststoffe, bei denen die Pruefung zerstoerungsfrei, oder zumindest bedingt zerstoerungsfrei, vorgenommen wird.
