Advantages of asymmetric operation of ISABELLE
Description
In a conventional accelerator, varying the beam energy changes the kinematics of the process being studied. In an ISA, however, by simultaneously varying the two beam energies, the same collision process can be observed but giving different distributions in the lab. Three regions where this flexibility can be useful are discussed
