Description

This paper discusses nondestructive evaluation (NDE) measurement methods for radioactive waste containers, including a quantitative, nondestructive assay (NDA) technology termed active and passive computed tomography (CT). The CT technology will be combined with two additional nonintrusive technologies to provide a complete x- and gamma-ray waste inspection tomography (WIT) capability.
