Investigation of the Jupiter electron flux with energy above or equal to 40 keV at the ''Mars-7'' automatic interplanetary station

Description

The measurement results of Jupiter electrons with energies >= 40 keV carried out from August 1973 to March 1974 using gas-discharge counters of the automatic interplanetary station ''Mars-7'' are presented. It is shown that Jupiter emits electrons with energies >= 40 keV up to 6 MeV into interplanetary space. The fore-shock fronts of heterospeed fluxes of solar wind plasma essentially change the Jupiter electron intensity
