Determination of chemical potential for coenzyme-Q-diffusion through phospholipid membranes

Description

The present work deals with the diffusion of both Ub,10 and Ub,0 through phospholipid bilayers and SDS. It is found that Ub,10 shows a lower extention coefficient and longer λmax in polar solvents compared with the measurement results done in nonpolar solution. On the other hand side Ub,0 shows higher (ε) values and longer λmax in polar solvents. 23 tabs.; 22 figs.; 60 refs
