Description
In this contribution we analyze the energy dependence of the ratio σJ/ψ/σDY, as well as the ratio (σJ/ψ/σQQ-bar), in pA and AA processes, considering the high density effects expected to be present in the high energy collisions. We verify that a large quarkonium suppression is predicted if these effects are included in the calculations. Moreover, we demonstrate that the pA process can be used to make it evident and to estimate the magnitude of the high density effects. (author)
