Objective is to develop analytical models for predicting both deformation and fracture in metals and alloys in energy-related systems. Progress reported includes high-temperature fatigue with hold time in ferritic materials; interactive solute strengthening in 316 ss; roles of forest dislocations and subgrains in isotropic hardening; back stresses at high strains and high temperatures; strain softening; and applications of MATMOD constitutive equations to 2 1/4 Cr-1 Mo alloy steel
