Investigation of curium and californium separation by means of D2EHPA salts extraction
Description
Results of D2EHPA salt synthesis with copper, nickel, cobalt, cadmium, iron, lanthanum, neodymium and ammonium ions are presented. Separation of curium and californium under static conditions by D2EHPA extraction with additives of synthesized salts has been studied. The presence of neodymium, ammonium and iron salts in the extraction system is shown to increase curium and californium separation coefficients 1.5, 1.2 and 6 times correspondingly
