The Heat Transfer Characteristics in the Radially Separated DTBSG

  • 1. Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute, Daejeon (Korea, Republic of)

Description

In a LMR development, the sodium-water reaction is a critical problem. To resolve it, many design concepts have been proposed. Recently, KAERI suggested a DTBSG concept with various structures and the analyses for the performance and 1-dimension sizing are being studied. However, throughout this analysis, multidimensional effects were not considered, so multidimensional studies are needed in view of the experimental and CFD analysis. There are 4 DTBSG types based on their shapes. In this study the radially separated DTBSG(RSDTBSG) is chosen and analyzed and heat transfer characteristics of RSDTBSG are studied experimentally and numerically
