Electrospark alloying of steel with heterogeneous materials on the base of zirconium nitride with molybdenum additions

Description
A possibility is studied to use the ZrN-Mo compositions as an alloying electrode material in electrospark alloying of steels. It is determined that the cathode erosion decreases with the Mo content rise in the composition. The granulometric and phase compositions of erosion products are shown to have influence on the process of the hardened layer formation
