Thermal conductivity measurements on irradiated thermal insulation materials for the SNR 300 project Part B: Carrying out the follow-up investigation - measurement results and their evaluation

Automatic translation: After some preliminary remarks on the irradiation of the 24 samples carried out at the Mol Center, information is given on the sample properties after irradiation. The measures required to carry out the thermal conductivity measurements are also described and the results are presented in tabular and graphical form. An attempt is also made to explain the dependence of the thermal conductivity on irradiation, which was not observed for all four materials (Promasil, Kerlane, Isover and Jargal).
Abstract (German)
Nach einigen Vorbemerkungen über die im Zentrum Mol durchgeführte Bestrahlung der 24 Proben werden Angaben zur Probenbeschaffenheit nach der Bestrahlung gemacht. Es werden ferner die für die Durchführung der Wärmeleitfähigkeitsmessungen erforderlichen Maßnahmen beschrieben und es werden die Ergebnisse tabellarisch und graphisch mitgeteilt. Ferner wird versucht, die an allen vier Materialien (Promasil, Kerlane, Isover und Jargal) nicht beobachtete Abhängigkeit der Wärmeleitfähigkeit von der Bestrahlung verständlich zu machen.Files
