Recording and control system of a triaxial crystal spectrometer on the basis of the 1001-TPA-i computer and the interface in the CAMAC standard

Description

Considered is the recording and control system of a triaxial neutron spectrometer on the basis of the 1001-TPA-i computer and CAMAC system blocks. The system is designed for providing operative effect on measurement processes using spectrometers. The triaxial spectrometer installed at the WWR-M nuclear reactor is equipped with the proposed system. The proposed layout represents on-line cyclic control system, where computer output signals of TPA-1001-i type put into action elements of motion of the triaxial spectrometer. At the same time, the computer estimates measurement results on the basis of obtained information (angle positions, number of detector and monitor readings) and introduces necessary changes in the recording-control program. The system consists of a 1001-TPA-i type computer, interface made of CAMAC blocks, and electronic connecting block. Presented is the block diagram of the considered recording and control system as well as layout of the CAMAC interface and the computer. It is stressed that the used program system module structure allows to submit some program with subprograms
