Therapeutic agent for radiation synovectomy preparation of 166Ho-EDTMP-HA

Description
In order to treat the patients with inflammatory synovial diseases, HA particles was labelled with 166Ho by EDTMP. The radiolabelling efficiency was more than 95%; size of particle was mainly at the range of 2-5 μm; in vitro study showed that loss ratio of 166Ho-EDTMP-HA particle incubating 72h in the normal saline solution and 1% BSA solution was less than 2%. In vivo biodistribution and extra articular leakage were investigated following injection of 166Ho-EDTMP-HA into knees of normal rabbits. The experimental results found that extra articular leakage of 166Ho-EDTMP-HA was 0.32% at 48h postinjection, most of 166Ho that leaked from the knee joint was excreted in urine
