Recent years have witnessed a major boost in molecular targeted therapy to metastatic/advanced malignancies with unsealed radiopharmaceuticals. In Indian centres at present. 177Lutetium based radiopharmaceuticals for receptor targeted therapy (177Lu-DOTATATE for Neuroendocrine tumors and 177Lu-PSMA for metastatic castrate resistant prostate cancer) constitute the centerpiece of this successful endeavor in clinical oncology practice.
