Description
Strategy definition for institutional framework for radioactive waste management in the Russian Federation. The the project covers the following tasks: 1. Drafting an appropriate waste management legislation based on advanced international experience. 2. Developing the basic principles for creation of a national waste management organisation. 3. Developing recommendations for the implementation of corresponding funding mechanisms. 4. Recommendations for improving radioactive waste management procedures at Russian nuclear power plants.
