Benedikt Heitmann: Recycling of silicon-based photovoltaic modules. 6. Bernd Ostenberg: Disposal of landfill class I waste in the region of Vorpommern and eastern Mecklenburg. 7. Rica Weisz: Ordinance on industrial waste: ''Of the should and the ability''. 8. Annett Schwertfeger: Commercial Waste Ordinance: Requirements for pre-treatment plants. 9. Matthias Welk: Industrial waste ordinance - implementation from the point of view of the Hanseatic and university town of Rostock. 10. Anna-Sabina Emmerich et al: Recycling of polymers by means of hydrothermal carbonisation. 11. Abdallah Nassour et al.: Current developments in waste management in the Arab world. Furthermore, the book contains abstracts of student papers.

Die Themen der elf Vortraege auf dieser Tagung waren: Holger Matthaeus: 800 Jahre Hanse- und Universitaetsstadt Rostock mit dem aktuellen Stand auf dem Weg zur Kreislaufwirtschaft. 2. Frank Wenzel: Umsetzung des VerpackG: Handlungsbedarf der oeffentlich-rechtlichen Entsorgungstraeger. 3. Ulrich Jacobs: Die Klaerschlammverwertungsanlage der KKMV in der Hansestadt Rostock. 4. Oliver Heidrich: Entsorgung von Klaerschlamm mittels thermischer Verwertung - Inbetriebnahme der Monoverbrennungsanlage auf der Insel Ruegen. 5. Benedikt Heitmann: Recycling von siliziumbasierten Photovoltaik-Modulen. 6. Bernd Ostenberg: Beseitigung von DK I-Abfaellen im Raum Vorpommern und oestliches Mecklenburg. 7. Rica Weisz: Gewerbeabfallverordnung: Vom Sollen und Koennen. 8. Annett Schwertfeger: Gewerbeabfallverordnung: Anforderungen an Vorbehandlungsanlagen. 9. Matthias Welk: Gewerbeabfallverordnung - Umsetzung aus Sicht der Hanse- und Universitaetsstadt Rostock. 10. Anna-Sabina Emmerich et al.: Recycling von Polymeren mittels Hydrothermaler Carbonisierung. 11. Abdallah Nassour et al.: Aktuelle Entwicklungen in der Abfallwirtschaft im arabischen Raum. Des Weiteren enthaelt das Buch noch Kurzfassungen studentischer Arbeiten.
