Variation of easy magnetization direction in Y2Fe17-ySixCδ
Description
The easy magnetization direction of compounds Y2Fe17-ySix with a small amount of carbon has been investigated. The crystal structure changes from Th2Ni17 to Th2Zn17 by C at x>2.5 and the EMD changes from the basal plane to nearly parallel to the c-axis. (orig.)
