Some mechanisms for radiation disturbance of chromatin template activity
Creators

Description
The template activity of chromatin in the RNA polymerase system rises after small doses of gamma radiation (up to 5 krads). The effect is accounted for by both appearance of additional initiation sites and acceleration of elongation. Correlation between the rate of chromatin proteins phosphorylation and template activity of chromatin in the RNA polymerase system is observed. (author)
