Description
Finite-amplitude acoustic waves have been propagated in liquid 3He and 4He. The acoustic cell has been operated at 83, 250, and 420 MHz and down to 17 mK. Our measurements of the anharmonic effects are in agreement with theoretical predictions and with previous experimental work that investigated a restricted temperature range
