Description
This study had for aim to appraise the doses received by the personnel during the different phases of the use of a PET scan. This technology uses a radioelement, fluorine 18, emitter of positrons. With a gamma radiation of 511 keV it is a tracer used in nuclear medicine among the most important in energy giving. This radiopharmaceutical implies constraints in radiation protection. The evaluation of the dose received by the operators turned on extremities and chest with a passive and active dosimetry. (N.C.)
