Becoming a mining radiation safety advisor - a reflection
Description
Over a period of 12 months continuous Radon & Radon decay product monitors were distributed with in the area surrounding the Yeelirrie Uranium deposit in Western Australia. The monitors were placed to the north-west of the ore body, within the mineralised zone and at the workers accommodation camp. The results provide a very interesting insight to the mechanisms that influence radon & radon decay products that are released into the environment naturally.
