Electric discharge etching of thin metalized plastic films

Description
We describe a technique for etching electrically isolated strips onto metalized Mylar surfaces suitable for strip cathode readout multiwire chambers. Cathode planes created using this technique are much thinner than those made using previously described techniques. (orig.)
