Peculiarities of behaviour of quasitrapped solar protons in an energy range of ≥ 102 MeV

Description
Peculiarities of behaviour of quasi-trapped solar protons in the energy range exceeding 100 MeV in the Earth magnetosphere are discussed. Results of measuring spectra of solar protons on probes in Apatites are used. It is shown that adiabaticity is greatly violated in the near-equator region in the dipole field. In real magnetosphere this violation manifests itself still stronger and according to Morfill data considerable particle scattering in pitch-angles must exist
