Effect of hot deformation conditions on structure formation of VT22 alloy

Description
The effect has been studied of various hot deformation conditions on the structure and mechanical properties of alloy VT22 under pressure. The basic microstructure types observed in this alloy after hot deformation are revealed. Electron diffraction microscopy has been used to demonstrate the hereditary effect of the initial structure of the beta-solid solution on the structure forming during subsequent strengthening heat treatment. The interrelationship between the structure and mechanical properties is discussed, alongside with the causes their instability
