Simple antennas for SHF probing of a plasma in a vacuum chamber

  • 1. Tomskij Politekhnicheskij Inst., Tomsk (Russian Federation)

Description

Paper presents structure of dielectric antennas for high-frequency plasma diagnostics without distortion of volume lightness where plasma is generated. Measurement results of pulse discharge using SHF-interception and interferometry are given. Application of vacuum evaporated antenna terminated in lens enables to form wave front parallel to the plasma boundaries that enabled abrupt interception of passing signal at plasma concentration over critical value. 3 refs.; 3 figs
