Numerical solution of classical kicked rotor and local Lyapunov exponents

Description
We calculate a local Lyapunov exponent for the kicked rotor that is constant for a duration that depends on the initial separation between two trajectories, but then decreases asymptotically as O(t-1lnt). This behavior is consistent with an upper bound that is determined analytically
