Irreversible relaxation studies in the amorphous Co71.5Fe2.5Mn2Mo1Si9B14 alloy by magnetic after-effect measurements
Description
The first order reaction kinetics was used to describe the irreversible structure relaxation, studied by means of the magnetic after-effect (MAE) measurements in the amorphous near-zero magnetostrictive Co71.5Fe2.5Mn2Mo1Si9B14 alloy. The long time (t2 = 2 divided-by 25,000s) measurements were performed at elevated temperatures: 379 divided-by 520K for the as-quenched and stabilized (annealed at 623K/2h) samples. Basing on the Hesse-Ruebartsch's method, the distribution range and the most probable value of the activation energy were calculated from isotherms. Three-peak activation energy spectra were obtained, which points to three different relaxation processes
