Lymphoscintigraphy in preoperative diagnostic of malignant melanoma

In 60 patients investigations were performed to detect primary lymphatic vessels from skin tumour to first lymph node station. Localization of lymphatics is done after intracutaneous injection of microcolloid round the tumour. 50 investigations were successful. Insufficient results are unavoidable in tumours near to lymph nodes. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
Bei 60 Patienten wurde der Nachweis der primaeren Lymphgefaesse zwischen Hauttumor und erster Lymphknotenstation versucht. Die szintigraphische Lokalisation erfolgte nach intracutaner Injektion eines Mikrokolloids um den Tumor. Sie gelang bei 50 Untersuchungen. Unzureichende Ergebnisse sind bei Befunden in der Naehe der Lymphknoten technisch unvermeidbar. (orig.)Additional details
