Multiple discharge breaking circuit
Description
A multiple discharge breaking circuit after its breakdown for the period of 0.1-1 ms is described. The range of operating voltage is equal to 100-500 V, current up to 50 A. Application of the circuit decreases training time of electric strength of the discharge gap and permits to use to the multiple breakdown regime during operation on plasma facilities. The unit is designed in the ''Vishnja'' standard, and it is tested at the load on the reflective electrode of the neutral atomic injector with a six-phase thyristor rectifier power supply switched during operating pulse duration ≥ 100. The tests exhibited a reliable operation and the increase of training rate of the injector
